Edward was born Edward Anthony Masen, Jr. on June 20, 1901 in Chicago Illinois. His father wasn't around much due to a busy career of the law, so Edward grew very close to his mother. He went to a private school and became very good at piano. His father died from the Spanish Influenza, and he and his mother were on the brink of death. Carlisle Cullen was their doctor, and he promised Edward's mother he would do everything in his power for Edward. He turned Edward to save him. Carlisle turned Esme and they were like a family. Edward rebelled in 1927 and went off alone to feed on humans. He targeted people that he thought were bad. He eventually returned to Carlisle (in 1931, to be exact). Carlisle and Esme were worried that he had no romance in his life, and it was one of the reasons they turned Rosalie, but he found her shallow, so they became just “siblings”. They turned Emmett, and Alice and Jasper joined them. They lived in Alaska, where they met the Denali coven. They then move back to Forks and two years later, Twilight begins. When we first meet Edward in the books, he and his “siblings” are “eating” in the cafeteria. Bella notices their unusual appearances and asks about them. Her friends tell her that they're the Cullens and Hales, and that they were adopted by Dr. Carlisle Cullen and his wife, Esme. Jessica reveals that Alice and Jasper, and Emmett and Rosalie are dating, and that Edward doesn't seem to find any of the girls at their school good enough to date. Bella goes to Biology and Edward acts strangely. He glares at her, and Bella notices his eyes are dark and he's sitting as far away from her as possible. He hurries to leave. He doesn't attend school for the rest of the week. When he does return, his eyes are golden and he's perfectly polite. Bella babbles a little and Edward seems especially interested in her, admitting that she's hard for him to read. He saves Bella from being hit by Tyler's van by speeding to her side and blocking the van. Unfortunately for Edward at the time, Bella remembers that he was all the way across the parking lot right before the van appeared. He rides to the hospital with Bella. Edward and Bella have an argument over how he saved her and he does not reveal how he did it. Edward climbs in Bella's window at night and watches her sleep sometime around then, when Bella starts dreaming about him. He avoids her for a while. When they talk again, Bella reveals she thinks he regrets saving her. Their relationship is on thin ice at this point. Edward seems to find Bella's popularity with the boys hilarious, even finding Bella's irritation hilarious. He cuts her off and waits for his siblings and Bella's asked for the third time to the GIRLS' choice dance. She sees him shaking with laughter before he drives away. He tells her it would be better for them not to be friends but that he's tired of staying away from her. He offers to drive her to Seattle and she accepts.

Abilities, Weaknesses and Power Limitations:

Abilities
Edward is a vampire in the Twilight universe. This means he already has a large set of abilities. He's inhumanly fast, strong, and beautiful. He says he's the perfect predator. Humans can't outrun him, fight him, or resist his voice, face, and smell. Everything about him is supposed to lure people in. He has inhuman endurance, agility and healing. He is virtually indestructible. He heals much quicker than humans. He also has sharper senses. He can hear things from farther away than humans, he can smell things more sharply, and his vision is more clear, sharper. He doesn't need to breathe or sleep.

Edward also has a special ability. He has telepathy, or the power to hear people's thoughts. He can also telepathically see Alice's visions, as well as listen to the telepathic link shape-shifters share.

Weaknesses and Power Limitations
Edward must feed off blood in order to keep his strength. He can be torn apart and burned, and that will permanently kill him. He sparkles in the sunlight (seriously). He can't digest human food. He also says that their “vegetarian” diet never fully satisfies. Sometimes, his telepathy is like a bunch of people talking at once. There is also a limit to his telepathy; it stops within a few miles.

Inventory: Just the clothes on his back, his keys, and wallet (with money, credit cards, ID etc in it).

Appearance:

Edward has pale skin with untidy bronze hair. He's lanky, but still muscular. His eyes are coal black when he's hungry, and golden when he has drank animal blood. If he would drink human blood, his eyes would be red. He has dark bruise-like shadows under his eyes. Played by Robert Pattinson

[Edward smiles at the camera when it turns on. He's boyish and charming, unbelievably attractive and appealing to those susceptible to his nature. The smile is friendly and inviting.] Hello. I thought I should properly introduce myself, and I thought it would be easiest on this. Though it is a little impersonal. Hopefully you'll forgive me for that. My name's Edward Cullen. I'm new to this place. I was hoping for a little help. I don't suppose anyone thought to put a piano on this spaceship?

I was also hoping to inquire about the whereabouts of Bella Swan? I'm not certain she arrived with me, but I was hoping to find her. She has long dark hair, pale skin, and is probably tripping over her own feet. Please let me know if you spot her. Thank you for your time. [He switches off the camera.]
